Job Opportunity: Deputy Assessor Position

Ogle County invites applications for the role of Deputy Assessor . As a Deputy Assessor you will contribute to the preparation of the annual assessment roll for real estate tax purposes. This critical role involves maintaining an accurate inventory of real estate in Ogle County and interacting daily with the public, real estate professionals, attorneys, title searchers, and County Board members. Reporting directly to the Ogle County Supervisor of Assessments, the Deputy Assessor position is a permanent role requiring a commitment to a thirty-five-hour workweek. The role necessitates adept multitasking skills. The minimum compensation for this position is $31,200, commensurate with the qualifications of the applicant.
